For the first time, a girl’s cricket team from Kerala has toured  UAE to spread the message of social

change, positive thinking and girl empowerment, using the medium of sports. Fingent Pathbreakers, a women’s cricket team made up of players from the Indian states of Kerala, Meghalaya, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh, completed their 10-day tour of the UAE on a splendid note displaying impressive skills to win matches against teams made up of UAE women cricketers. The 10-day tour was held in the second week of December 2020. The tour was a part of our ‘Pathbreakers’ campaign, to promote young women athletes.
